Description
A classic and comforting tuna melt sandwich with flaky tuna salad and melted cheese on toasted bread. Perfect for a quick lunch or a satisfying meal.
Ingredients

- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices bread
- 2–4 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or provolone)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, and Dijon mustard.
- Mix well and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Spread the tuna salad evenly on two slices of bread.
- Top each with 1-2 slices of cheese.
- Place the remaining two slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook sandwiches for 3-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.

- For a healthier option, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
