- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher until mostly broken down.
- Add breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Form the mixture into two burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Cook burgers for about 5-7 minutes per side, until heated through and slightly browned.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
