  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place chopped apples, water, cinnamon, and lemon juice (if using) into the Instant Pot.
  2. Secure the lid and set the steam valve to sealing.
  3. Cook on High Pressure for 8 minutes.
  4. Once cooking is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
  5. Carefully remove the lid.
  6. Mash the apples with a potato masher or immersion blender to your desired consistency.
  7. Stir in sugar or maple syrup if desired.
