Instructions
- Place chopped apples, water, cinnamon, and lemon juice (if using) into the Instant Pot.
- Secure the lid and set the steam valve to sealing.
- Cook on High Pressure for 8 minutes.
- Once cooking is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
- Carefully remove the lid.
- Mash the apples with a potato masher or immersion blender to your desired consistency.
- Stir in sugar or maple syrup if desired.
- Serve warm or let cool and store in the refrigerator.
