Description

A flavorful and healthy meal featuring salmon glazed with honey and sriracha, served over sesame rice.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey and sriracha.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet and brush with the honey-sriracha mixture.
  4. Bake salmon for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
  5. While salmon bakes, rinse rice under cold water.
  6. In a pot, combine rice and water; bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is tender.
  8. Remove rice from heat; stir in sesame oil and sesame seeds.
  9. Fluff rice with a fork and season with salt and pepper.
  10. Serve salmon over sesame rice and garnish with green onion.
