- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the green beans.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the green beans and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Meanwhile, in a separate pan, toast the sliced almonds over low heat until golden brown.
- Season the green beans with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and top with toasted almonds before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add lemon juice or zest.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
