Description

Deviled Strawberries are a unique appetizer that balances sweet strawberries with a savory cream cheese filling and a hint of spice. They are perfect for parties and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved lengthwise
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Stir in the chopped chives, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until well combined.
  3. Spoon or pipe the cream cheese mixture into the hollowed-out center of each strawberry half.
  4. Garnish with additional chopped chives.
  5. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately.
