A fresh and flavorful side dish featuring crunchy vegetables and a zesty sesame ginger dressing.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, green onions, and cilantro.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and honey.
  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to combine.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
  5. Chill for 30 minutes to enhance flavors.
