Amazing Christmas Jam: 1 Jar of Holiday Cheer

Description

A festive and flavorful jam perfect for the holiday season, ideal for gifting or enjoying on Christmas morning.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, water, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until cranberries have burst and the mixture has thickened.
  4. Remove cinnamon stick and cloves.
  5. Stir in lemon juice.
  6. Ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
  7. Wipe rims, apply lids and bands.
  8. Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove jars and let cool completely.
